Life & The Game Of Carrom

                            The  Game  Of   Carrom

Staying giggly in life is very important. And fulfilling our dreams somehow have a direct relation with it. Let's see how this game of Carrom can be a source of our dream fulfillment and indirectly the source of our giggle.

Don't worry! I'm not here to teach you carrom for sure but I am here is to make you know what I have learnt from this game which will definitely help all of us in playing the game of life efficiently. Amidst the situation of Covid-19, when everything was locked, sitting at home made us do at least something. My sister suggested playing Carrom and that's how we started. Carrom is a very popular game of Indian origin and is widespread in many neighboring countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, and Nepal where people love to spend some part of their day with it. The word itself creates a lot of confusion. Some people call it Carrom and others say Karom. Whatever the real word be I am gonna use Carrom just for the sake of convenience.

What I have noticed and learnt from this game is that just like Carrom life offers a lot of opportunities too. In the game of Carrom, you never know that the piece you have an eye on will once again be in your domain of hitting 'cause pieces will never be in the same position as they were in the previous turn. So, the first chance you get to hit a piece is akin to the last chance and if you lose it, there's a very high possibility of finding the same piece in your opponent's pocket till your turn comes. What we need to do is to keep an eye on our target and do whatever it takes to achieve it in one go. We should never wait for a second chance. It is the rule of life, if you are not desperate to grab opportunities coming your way someone else who's more desperate will grab them. So, just seize the opportunity whenever you see it. Don't take even a second to think twice about how and when to start working for it. Just start it anyway and you'll see the results yourself. What is to be noted here is that this desire of grabbing opportunities mustn't be mistaken for negative competition and jealousy. Grabbing opportunities is essential in life but snatching them away from others by some wrong means is never a good choice.

That's all for the day. With this note, I am gonna end this blog. See you in my next blog till then stay giggly.
