Every day mild light rays help me to open my eyes, early morning chirrups act as my alarm, and as I move out of my room, there's the beautiful blue sky above my head just waiting for me. What else do you want from life? This is the real beauty. And I assure you if you fix this beauty of life in your eyes there's no other beauty on this earth that can soothe you more. This beauty rests in the hills, in the lap of nature.
Living in mountains, when you meet tourists and ask them, "What are you here for?".
To this, they reply, "To see the mountains".
This statement often leaves me astonished and mum and I am like, "What? You've come here, traveling miles, just to see the mountains?".
Things near us have a lower value. I guess it's a human tendency to always find the grass greener on other side of the fence.
I say this because I belong to one of the most beautiful places on earth. The person who gave it the name 'Mini Kashmir' can truly understand its worth.
Yes, I am from Pithoragarh, a small city in the hills of Uttarakhand. And there are a lot of perks of living in hills. These hills can give you the best sunsets and sunrises of your life. You take in the fresh air every time you breathe, you can keep watching the vivid blue sky, spectacular bright stars at night, and the best thing is you can feel the beauty of green mountains and the chirping birds. This is the apex of beauty on earth, the beauty we can rely on, the beauty that calms us, that takes us to another level of the world, the beauty which is undoubtedly auspicious, truly dazzling, and pristine. This unbound beauty is certainly heaven on earth.
